Which Broadhead is Best???

A common thread on bowhunting forums is the topic of broadheads or more accurately "which broadhead is best?" threads.

The topic on bowhunting forums is so common that many bowhunters openly make fun of it.

Like the meme shown here on the right.

And what if I told you that is doesn't matter?

No, seriously. It doesn't matter.

See the broadheads below? They are all designs to kill deer (or whatever you happen to be shooting at). They are all lethal broadheads. They are all designed to kill. It seriously does not matter.

People on forums love to argue, claiming their favourite broadhead is the best. It is like people arguing over which is better, Coke or Pepsi? Does it really matter? Nope, it does not.

They argue about mechanical vs fixed broadheads (and which ones cause "broadhead failure" more often).

They argue about 100 grain vs 125 grain vs 150 grain vs 175+ grain broadheads.

They argue about which broadheads are best for killing a particular type of animal (as if the deer cares you are shooting it with a turkey broadhead, the deer will still be dead anyway).

They probably even argue about flint vs obsidian (on the more traditional websites).

And the memes below reflect these arguments back and forth, bowhunters basically using humour to make fun of the other person's opinion. (What if I told you that your opinion doesn't matter?)

Ahem.
